The Mississippi state of the USA is Fifth obese state. It has an obesity rate of 39.1%. 


The state of America, Arkansas , has an obesity rate of 38.7%,this number sits in 6th place. Louisiana has an obesity rate of 38.6% and sits in 7th place. South Dakota has an obesity rate of 38.4%, placed in 8th number as the most obese state in the USA. In the 9th number Ohio state has an obesity rate of 37.7%. Finally on 10th number Missouri is the most obese state of the USA, with an obesity rate of 37.3%.

Generally these 10 most Obese states of America in 2023 are considered as part of the obesity belt.  As compared to the National obesity average, The people of these states have a higher obesity rate than other people of the country.

By promoting healthy eating habits, like a balanced diet. which is rich in vegetables, fruits and grains. Also reduce the use of sugary drinks and foods. Promote regular exercise and physical activities for the management of weight and overall health issues. 


Workplaces encourage employees to attend programs for health and safety. All employees should have good knowledge about obesity and the health risks. 


Government should make policies like imposing a tax on sugary drinks and foods which are harmful for health. Also collaborate with the industry of food to make products sugar free, low sugar and low calories items.
